We have seen/read thousands of resumes - here are a couple of quick tips to make sure your resume is in top shape:
- Details on the company - revenue, # of employees, product description, etc.
- Accomplishments. Quote facts and figures to quantify your accomplishments.
- Have two resumes. One for recruiters, the other for self submission. The resume used with a recruiter should be complete - including dates, etc. We are going to ask for all the details anyway, so you may as well give them up front.
- Use up to date software and formats.
- Spell check.
- Objectives - make sure it is either broad enough - or that you change it according to the position being pursued.
